Points to consider when choosing your bathroom
Bath Choices
• The size and
shape that would best suit your bathroom.
• What material:
• Acrylic
gives flexibility for different shapes and designs.
• Steel
for rectangular baths is strong and hardwearing.
• Cast-iron
strength for stand alone luxury and rectangular baths.
• Many
acrylic baths will permit the fitting of a Spa / Whirlpool system.
Showering Choices
• Stand alone,
self-contained cabinets with hydromassage and sauna options.
• Shower enclosure.
• Over bath shower valve or hydromassage
column.
• Manual or thermostatically controlled
mixers.
Bathroom Suite Choices
• Basins come in
a variety of shapes and sizes to suit numerous requirements.
Choose from
pedestal basins, semi-pedestal
basins, vanity basins, countertop basins, ultra-modern
slimline basins, and cloakroom basins.
• WC Suites are available in three main
designs:
• Floor-standing
suites are available as close-coupled (the pan and the cistern sit
together)
or low-level (where there is a short pipe joining the pan and cistern
together).
• Back-to-wall
suites where the cistern is hidden behind a false wall, so only the WC
pan
is visible. The WC pan stands on the floor and all the pipe work is enclosed
making
it
easier to clean. Back-to-wall pans are available in selected ranges only.
• Wall-hung
suites also have a concealed cistern, but the pan is mounted up off the
floor
making it extremely easy to clean under and around the WC pan.
• Bidets are available in floor-standing,
back-to-wall or wall-hung to match your choice of
WC suite. If space is an issue, why
not consider the Multiclin WC seat that transforms
your WC into a bidet function
as well! Please remember to check the suitability of the
Multiclin to the WC suite of your
choice.
