New Showroom Makes a Splash
If you're looking to give your bathroom a new lease of life
then a visit to Tu Mewn is an absolute must. The new showroom
features inspirational bathroom sets, with some of the models
in working order so that customers can visualise how they
would work in their own homes. A special feature is the working
whirlpool bath - sure to appeal to those looking to turn
their bathrooms at home into a private spa retreat!
Some of the quality brands displayed and sold include Ideal
Standard, Armitage Shanks, Pure
Twyford, Ceramics Dolomite, Roca,
Victoria and Albert, Mira and Aqualisa.
There are countless more to mention and the friendly team
will be more than happy to source any items not in stock.
Tiles and worktops are also available to co-ordinate with
bathroom and kitchen designs. Tiles range from natural stone,
slate and marble to porcelain, glass and mosaic from the
likes of Groundwork, H & G Johnson, Pilkington and Saint
Gobain. Tu Mewn can either arrange for a tiler to
come and fit them for you or, if you fancy a spot of DIY,
all of the tiling accessories and tools are available to
purchase onsite.
Granite worktops are sourced from the acclaimed Cerrig of
Pwllheli. Worktops can also be bought in laminate, wood and
Minerelle - a new product set to take off as the next big
thing. It looks like granite but is set on chipboard and
is much cheaper. Any cracks or chips can be sanded down and
polished to look good as new.
Tu Mewn also features ranges of bedroom and home office
or study furniture and in this way can accommodate most of
a household's fittings needs, from simple storage solutions
to dramatic room conversions.

The showroom opened on August 13, 2005 - after a grand opening
party on the evening of August 12. This glittering event
was attended by 250 guests, and local Welsh Assembly member
Dafydd Wigley officially opened the showroom doors. The evening
was a huge success, not only showcasing the fabulous ranges
on offer in store but also providing great entertainment
from John ac Alun, and fantastic hospitality with a hog roast
and flowing wine all night!

Emma and her partners are delighted with business so far
and have been truly encouraged by the positive responses
at the event and in subsequent days. She said: "We have
put a lot of effor and thought into getting our brands, products
and designs right so it is encouraging to hear that others
agree with what we have done". She added: "We look
forward to welcoming new customers and showing them around
the shop".
